Bermont “Gene” Johnson, 86, of Hopkinsville, died on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center. A native of Trigg County, he was a pastor and founder of Grace Ministries, where he had served for more than 30 years. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at Grace Ministries, 720 N. Elm St., Hopkinsville. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour Saturday at the church. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
