Dr. Charles Ross, 78, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 6:54 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at his residence. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Grace Chapel Cemetery in Clarksville, TN. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.vDr. Charles Danforth Ross was born in Clarksville, TN on April 13, 1943 to Dr. John Walton Ross and Mrs. Mildred Corrine Slater Ross. He attended Clarksville High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Sewanee (The University of the South). He then attended medical school at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, followed by an internship in Tampa, FL and a brief stint in the Air Force as a flight surgeon.
