Desma Nell “Tootie” Laster Burt, 87, of Christian County, died on Monday, May 26, after a stay in a rehabilitation facility. A native of Greenville, Kentucky, she retired from Flynn Enterprises. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 2, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be fro 10 a.m. until the service hour Monday at the funeral home.
