Charles Glenn Banton, 85, of Hopkinsville, died at 6:45 a.m. Friday, April 25, at the Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville. A Logan County native, he was raised Pembroke. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. He was also a member of Gideon’s International where he served in the jail ministry. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
