Charles Allen “Chuck” Puckett Sr., 85, of Hopkinsville, died at 9:47 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, at his residence following a long illness. A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, he was retired from the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam and Korea. He then went on to retire from KCA Corporation in 2006. He was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus for more than 40 years. He also was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 25, at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home, with a vigil/rosary service at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to Saints Peter & Paul Catholic School.
