Carolyn Faye Benton Gamble, 74, died on Wednesday, April 9, in Hopkinsville. She worked for Red Kapp Industries for several years and was an “in-house” beautician for her family and friends. Previously, she worked as a nurse’s aide at Western State Hospital, worked in management for Cato’s, and as a phlebotomist for the local dialysis center. She was a member of Virginia Street Baptist Church, where she served as an usher, deaconess, and was a part of the missionary ministry. Funeral services will be at noon on Monday, April 14, at Gamble Funeral home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour Monday at the funeral home.
