Bob Liles, 83, of Martin Place Drive in Hopkinsville, died on Tuesday, June 30, at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville. A native of Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, he was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from law enforcement after working as a trooper for Kentucky State Police, a detective for the Hopkinsville Police Department, and a bailiff for Christian County Sheriff’s Office. He also volunteered with Boy Scouts of America, serving as an assistant scout master for Troop 3123. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, at First United Methodist Church. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
