Benjamin “Ben” Walden

Benjamin “Ben” Walden, 42, died on March 19, at home, following an 18-month battle with stage 4 renal cell carcinoma. A native of Milan, Tennessee, he was a 1999 graduate of Marshall County High School and a 2002 graduate of Murray State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Graphics and Design, Mechanical Design. He was employed at Trane Technologies as a design manager and was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. He also helped establish the archery program at Christian County Middle School and Christian County High School.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, at Peaceful Meadows Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Christian County High School Archery Program, 200 Glass Ave., Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
