Barbara V. McCord, 69, of Hopkinsville, died on Saturday, Sept. 12, at her residence. She worked in the medical field for many years, beginning her her medical career with Dr. Norma Shephard. She finished with Dr. Isle, Thomas & Calhoun. After leaving the medical field, she began her employment with Christian County Public Schools, retiring from Christian County High School. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
