Albert “Sonny” Pike Evans III, 75, of Hopkinsville, died on Saturday, May 17, at the Nashville VA Hospital. A native of Scottsburg, Indiana, he grew up in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and entered into the Air Force, serving in Vietnam. He was a member of VFW Post 1913. He was a charter member of Living Hope Baptist Church and an over-the-road trucker for more than 40 years. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Private graveside services will be at a later date at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
