Local officials are asking residents to document and report damages because the information will be used to determine the level of disaster relief assistance.

Intense winds, including suspected tornadoes, ripped through east Louisville and several western Kentucky counties Wednesday night. Gov. Andy Beshear said no fatalities have been reported, but noted injuries and structural damage.
The risk is high beginning Wednesday afternoon for tornadoes, hail, damaging wind gusts and heavy rain, the Christian County Emergency Management warned.
