The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced Wednesday that snow removal crews from neighboring counties are responding to assist in Christian and Muhlenberg counties, where up to 3 inches of ice accumulated on some roads.

Most churches called off in-person worship, some businesses closed for the weekend and Christian County Public Schools will be closed through Wednesday.
A winter storm warning will be in effect from late Friday through Sunday evening. In addition to heavy snow, there is a possibility of ice accumulation in Christian County.
