Historic preservationist Grace Abernethy will present a History on Tap program about local architecture on Thursday, June 25, at Hopkinsville Brewing Co.
Titled “A Crash Course in Architectural History: Hoptown Style,” the program is free to attend. It begins at 6:30 p.m.

The program will be “an exploration of Hopkinsville’s built environment and the different styles of architecture found around Hopkinsville and Christian County,” states a press release from the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County.
Abernethy has led several History on Tap programs, covering topics such as sites connected Edgar Cayce, the history of the Blue Streak building and a primer on building preservation work.
The museum sponsors the monthly History on Tap program “to share local history in a relaxed, fun setting.”
