Kentucky artists invited to submit works for Capitol exhibit

The deadline for submission is June 2.

Kentuckians are invited to submit artwork for consideration in the Team Kentucky Gallery that highlights state talent with a rotating exhibit in the main hall of the Capitol in Frankfort.

Works will be considered for an exhibit that will be up from July 1 to Dec. 31.

In a press release, Gov. Andy Beshear and first lady Britainy Beshear said there is no better place than the Capitol “to highlight Kentuckians’ voices as represented through art.”

The deadline to submit art for consideration is June 2. Photos of artwork should be submitted using the application on the gallery’s website. Works will be selected by the second week of June, and artists will be notified shortly after that.
