Hopkinsville Community College accepting submissions for its literary journal

Produced annually, "The Round Table" was established in 1966 by HCC English instructor Frances G. Thomas and her students.

The editors of “The Round Table,” Hopkinsville Community College’s long-running literary journal, are accepting submissions of original unpublished fiction, nonfiction, creative nonfiction, poetry and artwork for the 2025 edition.

Produced annually, the literary magazine was established in 1966 by HCC English instructor Frances G. Thomas and her students. 

Submissions are accepted from HCC students, faculty, staff, and their families, as well as community members and students in kindergarten through 12th grade, according to a press release from the college. 

Selected contributors will read their works when the journal is presented at the annual awards ceremony on April 24 in HCC’s Round Table Literary Park

Submissions should be emailed to hp-roundtable@kctcs.edu. The deadline is Feb. 1.
