Hispanic and Latin heritage focus of panel discussion Sept. 27 at HCC

The Hopkinsville Human Rights Commission is hosting the panel.

The Hopkinsville Human Rights Commission is observing Hispanic Latin Heritage Month with a panel discussion called “Listen, Learn and Lead” at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, in Anderson Hall at Hopkinsville Community College’s Emerging Technologies Building. 

Three local residents —  Daisy Aviles, Antonio Rodriguez and Abigail Landrum — will be panelists. 

This discussion targets business owners, board directors, leaders, human resources professionals and decision-makers, commission executive director Idalia Luna said in an email. 

“Panelists will discuss their current roles and the importance of your organization’s diversity and representation from the Spanish, Hispanic, and Latino communities,” Luna said.
