Courthouse returns to normal hours

Repairs to the courthouse's air conditioning system were completed Monday.

The Christian County Clerk’s Office returned to normal business hours on Monday following repairs to the courthouse’s air conditioning system, Deputy County Clerk Melinda Humphries confirmed.

The courthouse had been closing to the public at noon while the air conditioning was out because afternoon temperatures were about 5 degrees higher inside the building than the temperature outdoors.

The clerk’s normal hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
