CCPS to host COVID-19 vaccine clinic

The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be administered on May 24 at the county's two high schools.

Christian County Public Schools is hosting a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic for district students age 12 and older, CCPS Communications Director John Rittenhouse announced Monday in a news release.

Staff from Wild Health Medical Services will administer the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, May 24, at the following locations:

  • Hopkinsville High School – 9 a.m. to noon
  • Christian County High School – 1 to 3 p.m.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on May 10 expanded its emergency authorization of Pfizer’s vaccine for Americans age 12 to 15. Previously, the vaccine was approved for anyone age 16 or older.

Appointments are required. Students can register online.
