Kentucky company produces video series about farming and food chains in the age of coronavirus

Alltech, the Kentucky agricultural company, has produced a video series about how coronavirus could affect food production and distribution.

Alltech, the Kentucky-headquartered agricultural company, has produced a series of videos about the coronavirus pandemic and how it could affect food production and distribution.

The series, titled “Forging the Future of the Farm & Food Chain,” is free for anyone to watch online. 

“COVID-19 has shone a spotlight on the global food supply chain and the people within it who keep store shelves stocked and families fed,” the company states in a preview of the series. “Yet, COVID-19 may be transforming the way we produce and purchase food.”

Alltech has its headquarters in Nicholasville. Its operations include animal feed, meat, brewing and distilling. 

Alltech is the parent company of Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co., which produces Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale, Town Branch bourbon and other spirits.
