“Having found a set of turn of the century broom-making equipment in the barn of the family farm, Shannon Lewis had an idea,” the artist’s website describes. “After having restored the equipment back to working order, the broom-making started and has continued since 2004.”

The Janice Mason Art Museum is located the former post office building at 71 Main Street.

Admission is free. The museum hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.
