State Rep. Jason Petrie, R-Elkton, will speak Tuesday, Jan. 21, at a town hall meeting hosted by Hopkinsville Mayor James R. Knight Jr. The meeting is slated for 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Hopkinsville Municipal Center, 715 S. Virginia St.
Petrie, who chairs the House Appropriations and Revenue Committee, will speak about the state budget and the rate cut to the state income tax.
Petrie represents the 16th House District comprised of Logan and Todd counties and a portion of Christian County. He is an attorney and has been a state representative since 2017.
