Cumberland Winds to play for Pops in the Park

The concert will be June 12 at DeBow Recreational Complex.

The Cumberland Winds, a community music group from Clarksville, Tennessee, that’s known for its concert band and a jazz ensemble, will play for a free, outdoor concert from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at DeBow Recreational Complex on North Drive.

The Hoptown Pops In the Park is sponsored by WKMS, the public radio station at Murray State University.

Everyone should bring their own chairs or blankets, Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation announced in a Facebook Post

At least three food trucks — Kinfolk Catering, Holiday Burgers and Kona Ice — will be on-site during the concert.

Cumberland Winds will play a variety of traditional and popular music, including some show tunes and movie scores.
