The Christian County Health Department reported 11 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, pushing the total number of local cases confirmed since the pandemic began to 818.
The number of local cases classified by the health department as active reached a new high of 265. The breakdown of those individuals by age group is:
- Youth (0-21): 59
- Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 143
- Older Adult (60-84): 55
- Elderly (85+): 8
Over the last week, the average number of daily new cases has decreased by 39%.
