Health department reports 19 new cases of virus; total now 558

The total includes 181 active cases and 371 people who were classified as having recovered from the coronavirus, in addition to six deaths.

The Christian County Health Department reported 19 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Friday, pushing the county’s total to 558.

The total includes 181 active cases and 371 people who were classified as having recovered from the coronavirus, in addition to six deaths.

The number of confirmed, active cases by age group are:

  • Youth (0-21): 38
  • Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 96
  • Older Adult (60-84): 39
  • Elderly (85+): 8

Since Monday, 79 new cases have been confirmed by the health department.
