The campaign sponsored by Planters Bank raised more than $35,000 overall for 12 groups in Kentucky and Tennessee.

Three Hopkinsville nonprofits — Men2Be, Boys & Girls Club and Imagination Library — are among 12 organizations that benefitted from the Season of Giving holiday campaign that raised a total of $35,630 in 2021, Planters Bank announced Monday.

The bank said in a news release that the local organizations received the following donations:

  • Boys & Girls Club — $2,361.
  • Men2Be — $1,381.
  • Imagination Library — $1,931.

“Each organizations we supported this Season of Giving supports children in each of our communities,” Planters Bank CEO Elizabeth McCoy said in the release. “Whether it’s providing shoes, food or experiences, each of the 12 organizations make such an impact on our communities, and we’re so glad to be able to support them.”

2021 marked the eighth Season of Giving. The effort raises money for groups in the Kentucky and Tennessee communities served by Planters Bank through the sell of holiday gift items.
