Workshop for aspiring distillers planned at Casey Jones

Distillery University, based in Spokane, Washington, will lead the workshop at the Christian County distillery.

Casey Jones Distillery, 2815 Witty Lane, will host a three-day workshop designed to provide a “hands-on production experience,” for aspiring distillers. It is slated for April 3 through 5.

The workshop will be led by Distillery University, based in Spokane, Washington, and taught by Todd Buckley, director of education for Distillery University, along with master distillers at Casey Jones, who will share their expertise in traditional square-pot distilling methods, a press release states.

“Attendees will gain firsthand experience and insider knowledge crafting bourbon, vodka, gin,

and brandy while learning the science and artistry behind small-batch production,” the release states. 

The cost for the workshop is $1,899. Cach class limited to 20 participants. Additional information about the workshop and details for registration is available online
