Voter registration deadline is Oct. 5

Kentuckians eligible to vote may register online or in a local county clerk's office.

Kentuckians who are eligible and want to cast a ballot in the Nov. 3 general election are being reminded to complete a voter registration application. The deadline is 4 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5. 

Voter registration can be completed online through the Kentucky Secretary of State’s Office or in person at county clerk’s offices. The local office in the Christian County Courthouse, 511 S. Main St., is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. 

To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old by the general election and be a U.S. citizen who has resided for at least 28 days before the election. A complete list of eligibility requirements is available here
