Underground Hoptown art show slated May 21

The show will include paintings, pottery, graphic art, jewelry and baked goods.

Visual artists and other creatives will show and sell their works — everything from paintings and pottery to jewelry and cheesecakes — during the Underground Hoptown pop-up art show from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 21, at the Hampton Inn lobby, 210 Richard Mills Drive.

Hopkinsville photographer and painter Cat Lacy is organizing the show. Other artists who plan to participate include painter and graphic artist McKenzie Russell, potter Jackie Shepherd and baker Jordan Ladd.

Different Strokes, a paint and sip business, will be on hand. Works from Marlene Dade’s line of LeezaD jewelry will also be available.

Musician Richie Acevedo, of The ARC Exhibit and HipHoptown, has agreed to participate, said Lacy. And Vansauwa’s Tacos & Vegan Eats will have their food truck at the hotel during the show.

Lacy said other creatives who are interested in joining the show should text her at 270-604-1405 for more information.
