An opponent said the amendment would nullify four sections of the Kentucky constitution that relate to the legislature’s “obligations to the public schools.”
The candidates participating were Attorney General Daniel Cameron, Kentucky Auditor Mike Harmon, Somerset Mayor Alan Keck and Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles.
