Political science professors, representatives of the Kentucky League of Cities, and possibly others, will be asked to address the committee and the public.
Jeffers Bend is named in honor and memory of Sherrill L. Jeffers, the first woman to be elected mayor of Hopkinsville. She was a strong advocate for environmental education through city government and Pride Inc.
The gallery, seeking its first new exhibit in September, is enjoyed daily by faculty, staff, students and community members inside n the HCC Auditorium.
