Hopkinsville’s Christmas Parade will begin at 5:15 p.m. Saturday and take its traditional path along Main Street from Glass Avenue up to 14th Street.
The theme of the parade, “Songs of Christmas,” honors the grand marshal, country musician Brice Long, who grew up in the Hopkinsville area.
The city’s Division of Parks and Recreation organizes the parade. The sponsor is the Hopkinsville Electric System.
The parade will require several street closures Saturday, city officials announced.
