Several downtown rail crossings will be blocked to vehicle traffic Thursday, Aug. 6, while CSX trains drop off rail supplies and do maintenance work, city officials said in a press release.
The closures will affect the following numbered streets on the east side of downtown: Second, Third, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th.
At various times, drivers will need to detour these streets by taking crossings at First, Fourth and Ninth streets, which will remain open all day.
