Sarah Whitaker elected to Kentucky Chamber of Commerce board

Also on the state chamber board is Hopkinsville banker Kelley Workman, who serves as treasurer.

Sarah Whitaker, who owns Williams Advertising in downtown Hopkinsville, is among 17 newly elected directors for the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.

Whitaker chairs the Hopkinsville Small Business Commission, a city government panel that began its work in July. Previously, she was named chair of the Kentucky Chamber’s Small Business Policy Council. A Hopkinsville native, Whitaker earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration at Murray State University.

Whitaker joins Kelley Workman, president of Planters Bank, as a Kentucky Chamber board member. Workman is a member of the executive committee, serving as treasurer. 

The chamber’s new board chairwoman is Candace McGraw, chief executive officer of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport.
