Paving work set for several city streets starting Wednesday

Sections of 10 streets will be milled and paved, Hopkinsville Public Works announced.

Contractors for Hopkinsville Public Works will begin milling and paving work on several city streets on Wednesday. The work, weather permitting, will continue until completed, city officials said in a press release. 

Work is slated for the following streets:

  • Krusteaz Way from Pembroke Road to Frank Yost Lane
  • Westwood Drive from West Seventh Street to Glass Avenue
  • Morris Circle
  • West 18th Street from South Main to Canton Street
  • VFW Lane from Skyline Drive to Marie Drive
  • North Cherokee Trace Boulevard from Iroquois Drive to the end of city maintenance
  • Redwood Court from Morris Circle to the terminus
  • Circle Drive from Country Club Lane to Hunting Creek Road
  • Younglove Street from South Vine Street to Mechanic Street
  • Bethel Street from West 14th to West 15th Street

Residents and business owners who use on-street parking in these areas should move their vehicles to accommodate the equipment used for milling and paving.
