Open records law webinar slated

Louisville attorney Jeremy Rogers will lead the free webinar for the Kentucky Open Government Coalition.

Kentuckians are invited to a free webinar on Wednesday, July 27, to learn about changes to the state’s open records law.

Attorney Jeremy Rogers will lead the webinar for the Kentucky Open Government Coalition. Rogers is a co-director for the coalition and an open records practitioner with two decades of experience. He is a partner at Dinsmore & Shohl, Louisville.

“The webinar will equip you with the knowledge you need to successfully use the open records law as amended in the 2022 legislative session,” a coalition member said.

Organizers said the webinar will benefit anyone who wants to know more about the public’s rights and the duties of agencies under the law.

The webinar will begin at 9 a.m. (CDT) and last for about 30 minutes.  Advance registration is required by signing up online.
