Amy Rogers makes ornaments with real pickles from the iconic Ferrell’s hamburger restaurants in Hopkinsville and Cadiz. The pickles, which Rogers says she buys directly from Ferrell’s, are preserved in resin with the checkered green paper the restaurant wraps around its burgers. Rogers works for Visit Hopkinsville and makes the ornaments through her side hustle, Resinate With Ames. The ornaments sell for $7 (small) and $10 (large). After months of research and experimenting with recipes in her kitchen in the fall of 2018, Kristina Dunaway was ready to bring natural skincare products to the market.
