The county could see a spike in people testing positive for COVID-19 as more residents get out of their homes when businesses reopen, the county health director said.
About 100 children in the U.S. have been diagnosed with, and three in New York have died from, pediatric multisystem inflammatory syndrome. It appears to be caused by the corionavirus.
Current COVID-19 patients are able to receive plasma from recovered patients, which contains antibodies believed to assist in the fight against the virus.
At this point, the state has tested about 10 percent of all residents, and testing all of them would take a couple of months to get all of the testing done.
