Elected officials and employees in their offices will recite the oath from the Kentucky constitution to begin new terms in 2023.

Wade White, who stepped down as judge-executive three months ago, will be the only Kentuckian on the TVA board.

The measure faces a tougher challenge from Republicans in the House.

Wheatley, who has been in office since 2019 representing District 65, lost his re-election bid to Republican Stephanie Dietz this year.

Critics warn the surging surplus is temporary and could be better spent on education and housing for flood victims.

According to the draft, a transgender student would need written permission from their parents to use different facilities.
