Milling and paving work — set to begin Wednesday, July 29, and conclude on Wednesday, August. 3 — will affect traffic and parking in areas of downtown Hopkinsville, according to a press release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
The milling work is planned between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. July 29 through 31. This phase will proceed north on South Virginia Street from Ninth Street to Little River Bridge, then south on Main Street from Little River to Ninth Street.
The paving work, which will proceed in the same directions, is planned from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 3 to 5.
No on-street parking will be along in these areas while crews are working.
