Mayor makes appointments to Hopkinsville boards

Appointments were announced to the museum, Hopkinsville Electric, convention center and the police and fire pension boards.

At its Tuesday meeting, Hopkinsville City Council received executive orders from Mayor James R. Knight Jr. for six appointments to local boards. 

B.J. Cayce, Kiley Killebrew and Jordan Talley were reappointed to the Pennyroyal Area Museum Board for terms running from July 1 to June 30, 2028.

Margaret Prim was reappointed to the Hopkinsville Electric System Board for a term running from July 1 to June 30, 2028.

Fire Chief Steve Futrell and Police Chief Jason Newby were reappointed to the Policemen’s and Firemen’s Pension Fund Board for terms expiring on June 30, 2025.

Tony Henson, facility coordinator for the Hopkinsville Sportsplex, was appointed to the Hopkinsville-Christian County Conference Center Corp. to fill the unexpired term of Tab Brockman. The term ends Nov. 30, 2026. Brockman retired from the city job last fall and recently moved from Hopkinsville.
