Local educator to give program on impact of remote instruction

The League of Women Voters will host the virtual session on March 8.

A local school administrator will give a program for the League of Women Voters of Hopkinsville about learning gaps that developed as a result of extended remote instruction during the coronavirus pandemic.

Anyone interested in attending the Zoom session at 6 p.m. Monday, March 8, may register to receive a link. The speaker will be Jessica Addison, director of instruction for Christian County Public Schools.

Addison “will share some of the hurdles that must be addressed and the varied strategies local schools have begun to plan and implement,” the league said in a news release.
