The League of Women Voters of Hopkinsville will conduct a pop-up voter registration drive from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 1, at DeBow Recreational Complex, 307 North Drive.
Volunteers will be on hand to help people use their smart phones to register as Kentucky voters. Those who don’t have a smart phone will still be able to register. Everyone who registers needs their Social Security number.
Social distancing will be observed during the drive.
The deadline to register for the November general election is Oct. 5.
To be eligible to register, a person must be a U.S. citizen and have been a Kentucky resident for at least 28 days before the election. Voters must be 18 years old by Election Day.
