Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams will be the guest speaker, via Zoom, for the Hopkinsville League of Women Voters’ meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, April 10, and members of the public are invited to join meeting virtually.
“He plans to speak on how to increase voter turnout and his efforts on improving the voting process in Kentucky,” local league president Nikki Chambers said in an email.
Anyone interested in joining the meeting should email Chambers at nikki.chambers@lwvky.org by 11:59 p.m. Sunday. The Zoom link will be shared only with those who RSVP to her.
“If you have questions that you would like me to send to Secretary Adams beforehand, you may send those to me to forward,” Chambers said.
Adams will speak at the beginning of the meeting. A Republican, Adams took office in 2020 and is seeking re-election.
