Imagination Library plans Sip into Spring dinner

The outdoor meal on May 13 will have four courses with wine pairings at The Mixer.

Christian County Imagination Library will host the Sip into Spring fundraising dinner at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 13, at the The Mixer on Sixth Street.

The four-course meal with wine pairings will be outdoors, weather permitting, in the parking lot adjacent to the restaurant, organizers announced.

The cost is $65, and tickets are available at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, 1101 Bethel St.

Imagination Library, established by country music icon Dolly Parton, provides a free, age-appropriate book every month for children from birth to age 5 in communities that offer the program.

The local Imagination Library is responsible for raising money to cover the cost of books. Parents and guardians may register any child who lives in Christian County to receive the books in the mail.
