Skatin’ on the Square is back for a second year in downtown Hopkinsville with a 2,500-square-foot synthetic ice rink open today through Sunday at Founders Square.

A 90-minute session with skate rental is $10 per person. Skaters are encouraged to register their session in advance. Go to www.HoptownRec.com.

Walk-up sales will be available, but pre-registration will guarantee a spot on the rink. Groups of six or more need to call Parks and Recreation at 270-887-4290 to make reservations.

Sessions start at 9 a.m. Thursday and Friday and at noon Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. The last session concludes at 9:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, at 10 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 p.m. Sunday. There will be a break during the Christmas parade. Go here to see session times.
