We’re celebrating Hoptown Chronicle’s launch, so come join us

Our independent, nonprofit news outlet is having a party Tuesday afternoon at Hopkinsville Brewing Co.

Hoptown Chronicle is throwing a launch party Tuesday at Hopkinsville Brewing Co. — and if you’re reading this story, you should come celebrate with us. We’ll be at the brewery from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

You’ll also have a chance to play along in a game of Hoptown trivia. Come test your knowledge of downtown and local history.

We’ll have some good food to share from downtown eateries, and the brewery crew will be selling Hopkinsville’s finest beer. The brewery also sells soft drinks, and this is a family-friendly event.

Hoptown Chronicle is an independent, nonprofit news site devoted to public service journalism from the heart of Hopkinsville.

Our coverage will be focused on downtown and local government. We’ll also publish some state news from other news outlets and journalism projects that have agreed to share stories with us.

The Hoptown Chronicle website launched on June 6, expanding on an existing Facebook presence. Come learn more about our plans for local journalism from Hoptown Chronicle’s founder and editor, Jennifer P. Brown.
