Hopkinsville Brewing Co.’s ninth annual Hoptoberfest will run from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20.
Events will include the popular beard and stein-holding contests, and a beer-themed spelling bee. And Camo Caravan, the restaurant specializing in burgers that moved from North Drive to downtown earlier this year, will be serving food.
Categories in the beard competition will include full beard, partial beard and artificial beard (fur babies allow).
In addition, a limited number of pottery beer steins from Brushy Fork Creek will be available to purchase. Approximately 30 steins — in different shapes and colors and labeled for 2025 — were created.
“They are gorgeous,” said brewery co-owner Kate Russell.
The steins are $40 each and include a first pour from the new Hoptoberfest 2025 beer brewed for the event. This is the second year that Tricia Ferrell, the potter and co-owner of Brushy Fork Creek in northern Christian County, has created custom steins for Hoptoberfest.
The brewery is on Fifth Street between South Main and South Virginia streets.
