Hoptoberbest is back with its popular beards competition

The event on Saturday, Oct. 15, will also have pork chop sandwiches served by Hopkinsville Junior Auxiliary.

Hopkinsville Brewing Co.’s annual Hoptoberfest will be Saturday, Oct. 15. The brewery opens at noon. 

“This year’s family-friendly Hoptoberfest features a mix of new and old with the return of Hoptown’s only stein-holding contest and beard competition, as well as the new additions of silent disco and Junior Auxiliary’s famous pork chop sandwiches,” the brewery announced in a Facebook post

The stein-holding contest will begin at 2:30 p.m., followed by the beards competition at 4:30 p.m. and a silent disco at 6 p.m.

The brewery is on Fifth Street between South Main and South Virginia streets.
