Hopkinsville women appointed to state boards

Margaret Prim and Ruth Lynch were named in appointments by Gov. Andy Beshear.

Gov. Andy Beshear recently appointed two Hopkinsville women to state boards, according to a press release from his office. 

Margaret Prim was appointed to the Kentucky Arts Council for a term expiring Nov. 18, 2026. Prim is executive director of the Pennyroyal Arts Council. 

Ruth Lynch was appointed to the Martin Luther King Jr. State Commission for a term expiring Dec. 12, 2026. Lynch is a retired administration from Christian County Public Schools.
