Hopkinsville physicians will lead panel discussion for Heart Health Month

The community is invited to the event Feb. 2 at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School.

The public is invited to a panel discussion on cardiovascular disease, led by Hopkinsville physicians Dr. Chester Crump and Dr. David Kabithe, at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School gymnasium, 14405 MLK Way. 

The event for Heart Health Month is sponsored by Beta Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and Hopkinsville Alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. 

In addition to the panel discussion, healthy snacks and a healthy activity will be offered, organizers said. The event is offered to community members ages 12 and older.
